变否定句的方法：

一、 句中有Be(am,is,are,was,were)动词的时候，直接在

Be(am,is,are,was, were)动词后加not, 通常缩写。

1.I’m a cook. -------I’m not a cook.

2.Tom is watching TV. --------Tom isn’t watching TV.

3. They were students in a school 10 years ago.-----They weren’t students in a school 10years ago.

4. She is going to study computer science. -----She isn’t going to study computer science.

二、句中有情态动词时候，在情态动词（can, may, must, might, will, would, should…）后加 not, 通常缩写。

Lg.

1.I will go to Shanghai next year.----I won’t go to Shanghai next year..

2.She should come back on time.----She shouldn’t come back on time.

三、句中没有Be动词和情态动词的时候，在动词前面加don’t、doesn’t或didn’t，动词用原形。过去时用didn’t; 一般现在时,当主语是第三人称单数(He, She,It, 或单个的人或物)的时候用doesn’t，其它都用don’t. Lg.

1. I went to New York City last year. ----I didn’t go to New York City last year. 2. She often exercises. ---- She doesn’t often exercise. 注意：1.通常some改为any, too改为either;

例如：I have some books----I don’t have any books. I can read English books, too.—I can’t read English books, either.
