【教材简解】
课文通过刘涛和迈克的对话,讨论国庆节去了哪里,做了什么,通过课文学习,孩子们知道询问与别人讨论假期。
【目标预设】
1.能正确理解、掌握A部分对话,并能朗读和表演对话。
2. 能正确地运用对话中出现的日常交际用语,Where did you go for the holiday? I went to… What did you do…? Did you …? Yes, I did. No, I didn’t…
3.掌握会话中出现的单词holiday, National Day, call, Bund, Star Lake, Shanghai Museum, go fishing.
4.让学生感到用英语开启话题询问和交流未来的计划打算很有意义。
5.让学生快乐学英语,从英语学习中体会到成功。

【教学过程】
Step 1 .Warming up .
Act and sing a song ‘If you are happy ’.
(课的开始以一首孩子熟悉的节奏欢快的歌曲导入,不仅可以活跃课堂气氛,而且可以增添学生的学习情趣,使其全身心投入到英语学习当中,从而形成学生积极的情感态度。)
Step 2.Presentation
1. Teach : holiday
T:I’m happy these days .Because I got a present. Look It’s a card.(出示卡片实物,吸引学生的眼球。)
It’s my Teachers’ Day’s present. Children’s Day is your holiday.
(从教师节过渡到孩子们的节日儿童节,出示提示词组,让孩子有话可说,为下边课的开展做好铺垫。)

Step 3. Learn the text

(看动画,完成选择,初步了解课文的大意。)

3. Read and fill in the blanks

●Mike went to a farm. He picked some .He went too. He caught . (孩子们自读课文后完成填空,因为有一些难度,孩子们可以在填完后小组内交流讨论,降低难度,学会合作学习。)
4.Fill in the blanks then teach see过去式saw, catch过去式caught
(指名学生个别填空,同时共同解决生词,再比赛的形式读一读,进一步了解课文。)
5.Read the short passage together.
6.Listen and repeat the text.
7.Read in roles.
(多种方法练读课文,让孩子在读的过程中进一步感知课文。)
8.Consolidation.
(结合板书,引导生复述课文,鼓励学生用简短的语言说一说自己的假期。)
