摘要：The invention concerns a method for measuring the efficacy of a lubricant byelectrochemical impedance spectroscopy, which consists in: introducing the lubricant in ameasuring cell comprising two metal electrodes; feeding said electrodes with at least avariable frequency voltage; measuring the impedance of the lubricant-electrode systemin the high frequency range and in the low frequency range; simulating, by means of asoftware, an equivalent electric circuit supplying an impedance profile coinciding with theone measured with the cell; calculating, on the basis of said simulated equivalent electriccircuit, at least a first specific parameter in the high frequency range and representing themodifications in the volume characteristics of the lubricant, and at least a second specificparameter in the low frequency range and representing surface characteristics of thelubricant. The invention also concerns a device for implementing said method.
