摘要：A disc brake for a utility vehicle, having a brake-application device (2) which isarranged in a brake caliper (1) and by which, during a braking operation, by means of oneor two adjustment spindles which are arranged in parallel and spaced apart from oneanother in a bridge (4) and which are guided through a base plate (8) which closes off areceiving chamber of the brake caliper (1), a brake pad (7) can be pressed against a brakedisc, wherein the brake-application device (2) has a pivotable brake lever (3) which isformed on one end as an eccentric and which is supported at one side on the brakecaliper (1) as an abutment and at the other side on the bridge (4), is designed such that,during a braking operation, the bridge (4) is supported, in the direction of rotation of thebrake disc, laterally on the brake caliper (1) and is supported, transversely with respectthereto, on the brake caliper (1) and on the base plate (8).
