摘要：[Problem] When bundling members are wound in an SZ shape around an opticalfiber bundle, an optical fiber may become non-bundled if there is a faulty join at a placewhere the winding direction of a bundling member is reversed. [Solution] The presentinvention provides an optical fiber unit that is provided with: an optical fiber bundle inwhich a plurality of optical fibers are bundled together; and a plurality of bundlingmembers. Each bundling member is wound around the outer periphery of the opticalfiber bundle in a longitudinal direction of the optical fiber bundle while the windingdirection of the bundling member is alternately reversed, and is joined to anotherbundling member at winding reverse places where the winding direction is reversed.Within a region encompassed by a pair of bundling members that are to be joined to eachother at the winding reverse places, there is a joining point of another pair of bundlingmembers joining at a winding reverse place.
