Unit 11 Could you please clean your room?
一、指导思想和理论依据
1.英语课程的基本理念是:采用活动途径,倡导体验参与。倡导任务型的教学模式,让学生在教师的引导下,通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作等方式,实现任务的目标,感受成功。在学习过程中进行情感和策略的调整,以形成积极的学习态度,促进语言实际运用能力的提高。
2.培养学生的观察、记忆、思维、想象能力和创新精神;帮助学生拓展视野,形成健康的人生观,为他们的终身学习和发展打下良好的基础,也是英语课程的任务之一。
3.“用语言做事”是设计课堂教学活动的主要原则,也是设计课堂任务的主要思路。教师在教学中使学生成为学习活动的主体,并创设真实的语言学习情境,引导学生使用语言完成任务。师生共建合作交流与对话互动的课堂教学平台。
本节课最后希望学生能灵活运用本单元的目标语言,即用礼貌的语言请求或征得他人的许可。因此,在设计教学时,教师特别注意了词汇学习、功能句学习等方面都体现了学生的学习过程。强调学生学语言的过程,即是用语言做事的过程。
二、教学背景分析 1.教学内容
本节课所用的教材是人教版义务教育课程标准实验教科书英语新目标Go for it!内容为Unit 11 Could you please clean your room?的第一课时,是一节听说课,目的是通过听说活动学会用话题语言进行礼貌请求及征得他人的许可,最后学会用本单元目标语言做事,完成一个比较完整的自我学习和修养的过程。 2.教学方法
以学生为中心,为学生设计用英语做事情的语言实践活动,学生个人活动与小组活动相结合。 3.教学手段
现代教学手段和传统教学手段相结合,既有传统的黑板、粉笔,又有现代化的动画、图片等多媒体资源。 三、教学内容
1.有关家务劳动的词汇及词组。 2.向别人进行礼貌请求的句型。 3.征得别人许可的句型。
4.能够用所学语言知识寻找适合自己的室友,学会用本单元目标语言做事情。
四、教学目标 (一)知识与技能 知识:
掌握基本的有关家务的词汇:do the dishes, sweep the floor, fold the clothes, make the bed, do the laundry, take out the trash等。学会运用基本目标句型:Could you please…? Could I …? 向别人进行礼貌请求及征得别人许可。 技能:
能将所学语言知识用于实践活动中,完成老师设计的特定情景任务。真正做到用语言做事情。 (二)过程与方法
1.通过对家务词汇的学习,积极思考、模仿向别人进行礼貌请求及征得别人许可的句型,灵活运用于对话中,参与、合作、分享,最后得体地表达出自己的想法。 2.个人观察、体验和思考,小组活动。
五、教学重点和难点
1.重点:有关家务的词汇,如何向别人进行礼貌的请求及征得别人许可。
2.难点:能正确地使用目标语,并能灵活的运用,学会用语言做事情。
