The popularity of microblog

In recently years, microblog has become a common part of our life, especially in the young people. Microblog has a huge impact on our society. People use it to reveal their inner voice, or collect and share thoughts and things they find interesting. Statistics show that over half a billion people are using it.

The benefits that microblog has brought us are self-evident. First of all, it enables people to convey their emotions and thoughts more instantly and conveniently. It thus also provides a chance for people to release their inner stress. Besides, it offers a platform for relatives and friends to keep in touch to build and maintain relationships at any time.

Everything in the world has its own two sides. Without exception, microblog has both advantages and disadvantages. It can be potentially

dangerous if not properly used. First, being addicted to it is nothing but a waste of time. It may also give away people’s privacy or other important

information. What’s worse, being susceptible to others’ ideals easily, people may lose the ability of thinking independently.

Microblog, to some extent, is a wonderful tool for efficient communication. It provides us comfort and also inevitably some concerns. We should be careful while using it.
