1.教师先带领学生朗读一遍1a中左边的单词和短语,然后让学生完成1a中的任务。教师请一名学生分享自己的答案,最后全班一起核对答案。
2.教师播放1b的录音,学生圈出听到的地点,完成1b的任务。
3.教师请学生回答圈出的地点,然后指导学生订正答案。教师重新播放1b的录音,让学生模仿录音的语音语调轻声跟读。
4.学生两人为一组,根据1a中的信息进行对话练习。教师邀请几组学生当堂表演对话,并对学生的语音语调进行指正。
5.要点点拨。

此句是there be句型的一般疑问句形式。there be 句型的肯定句变为一般疑问句时要将be动词放在句首,其肯定回答为:Yes,there is/are.否定回答为:No,there isn't/aren't.例:—Is there a park near the library?图书馆附近有公园吗?—Yes,there is.是的,有。

1.让学生先阅读2a中的句子并了解其大概意思,然后观察图片中电话亭与邮局、图书馆的相对位置,完成2a的练习。教师邀请三名学生分享自己的答案,最后教师订正答案。
2.让学生浏览一遍2b中的大致内容,预测即将听到的内容,为听力练习做好准备。 3.教师播放2b中的录音,学生根据听力内容,从左边方框中选择适当的方位介词或短语完成右边的句子。教师邀请五名学生分享自己的答案,最后教师订正答案。
4.教师给学生两分钟时间熟读2b中的句子,熟悉方位介词。
5.让学生朗读2c中的对话,根据第43页1a里的图片与同桌一起编新的对话,然后进行练

(1)The pay phone is across from the library.
①本句是“主语+be动词+介词短语”的结构,用来说明某物或某人的位置。它可以和there be 句型进行转换,说明位置关系。例:A bookshop is on Nanjing Road.=There is a bookshop on Nanjing Road.南京路上有一家书店。
②pay phone 付费电话;公用电话亭。例:There is a pay phone in our school.我们学校有一个电话亭。
③across from 在……对面,相当于opposite。例:The house is across from the park.=The house is opposite the park.房子在公园对面。
(2)The pay phone is next to the library. 【辨析】next to、near与beside
三者都指“在……旁边,附近”,但具体用法有区别:
①next to紧靠……;在……的旁边。例:We sat next to each other.我们挨着坐在一起。 ②near 在……附近;靠近。它指空间或时间上接近。例:His house is near my school.他的房子就在我的学校附近。
③beside在……旁边。例:He sat beside his daughter all night.整个晚上他都坐在女儿身旁。 9.学以致用。(根据汉语意思完成句子,一空一词) (1)在我的文具盒里有两支铅笔和一支钢笔。 There are two pencils and a pen in my pencil box. (2)银行就在我们学校对面。 The bank is across from our school. (3)你能游过去这条河吗? Can you swim across the river? (4)小男孩紧挨着他的母亲。 The little boy is next_to his mother. (5)彼得坐在汤姆附近。 Peter sits near Tom. 设计意图:听力练习的设计可以培养学生在听的过程中抓取关键信息的能力;对话的练习既可以增进学生之间的友谊,又能让学生在练习对话的过程中发现并总结自身的发音问题。
