How to learn English well

There are four key points to study English: listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Firstly, we should be brave to talk with others in English. By doing this, we can improve ore talking and listening skill.

Secondly, we should try to listen to all kinds of English programmes as much as possible. In this way, we can gradually improve our pronunciation.

Thirdly, we should often read English books. When we come across a new word. We should guess its meaning through the contest first. then look it up in the dictionary to have a check. I thin,, it is a good way of reading.

Fourthly, we should practice our writing skills. Whenever we have any idea, we should get the pen and write it down at once. It is very important to avoid writing in Chinese way and using the Chinese grammar.

As long as we listen, speak, read and write more, we are sure to make remarkable progress!

How to learn English

Learning English, just like learning other language, is hard work so you'd better spend lots of time on it every day. It's important to have good ways of learning English，such as preparing each lesson carefully before class,listening to the teacher and taking notes attentively in class,and reviewing what is learned regularly after class. Several steps should be handled in order to improve the learning efficiency.

Firstly, paying attention to the previewing（预习） to make yourself own a preliminary （预先的）understanding of the lesson.

Secondly, mastering the right way of listening to the teachers，including keeping the balance between listening to the teachers and taking notes as well as getting involved in the class discussion so that your learning effect will keep on being improved.

How to be a top student

Many people think that top students are genius, but according to my observation/ in my opinion, top students are just average students who have the following characteristics.

To begin with, top students seem to have clear and concrete goals in their life. They know what they want and will never give up whatever difficulties they come across.

Next, top students seem to have very good study habits. They listen to the teachers attentively and answer the teachers' questions actively in class and do what the teachers ask them to do after class. They read other books related to the subject to widen their scope of knowledge.

Finally, top students seem to have a wide variety of interests. They engage themselves in all kinds of activities. As a result, they also excel in many other aspects.

I am also determined to become a top student. I will regard the top students as my role models and will go out of my way to get to know them and learn from them.
