Ⅰ. 名词性从句的含义

1. I heard the news (名词作宾语)

I heard that he would come tomorrow. (宾语从句)

I heard the news that he would come tomorrow . (同仿语从句) I admite him a hand —working student. (名词作同位语) The problem is a hard one.

The problem is that we can’t come tomorrow (表情从句) The matter is true

Ⅲ. 语序： 陈述语序： （wh- ）+主+谓 改写句子：1. whose book is this ?

Ⅳ. 连接词及其用法

1. that . 连词. 无意义，不担当成分（做题时，分析从句意义是否完整） 省？ 仅宾语从句中的第一个that可省，第二个以后不可省 Eg. That she was chosen made us happy . (不可省) The reason is that he is ill (不可省)

The reason that he is ill is unbelieveable(不可省)

※ He said (that) he was a student and that he would not do that 2. what 连代. 从句中可充当主.宾.表.定语 译为―什么‖ ―所…的‖ I need is time . I don’t know you want. That is I need. 3.whether / if 连词―是否‖， 不充当成分.

if 仅用于动词后的宾语从句，且从句中无or not 及 to do 即： 主语，表语，同位语从句只用whether 不用if 介词后的宾语从句只用whether 不用if
