摘要：In part, the invention relates to an immersible ultrasound probe having asubstantially cylindrical shape and a circular or elliptical cross-section. Typically, thecircumference of the probe and the length of the cylinder define an inner surface upon

which rows and/or columns of transducer are disposed. This surface can also be formedfrom panels or modules. The transducers can be formed in unitary substrate andelectrical connected to a MEMs device and a multiplexer. The inner surface defines acavity having at least one opening sized to receive a body object. The inner surfaceconfigured to receive acoustic signals while immersed in a fluid.
